In this chapter, we draw inspiration from Stuart Elden (2017a, n.p.), who asks how 'can we understand how place-people-power relations were labelled, conceptualised and practiced in different times and places'? What might be gained by placing more emphasis on the 'geocorporeal - the bodies in these spaces', as well as on political, economic, strategic, legal, or technical issues? In what follows, we respond to that question, with a view to pushing forward existing work on settler colonialism; its consequences and affects; and intersections with bodies, sites, regions, territories, and the power relations that co-constitute them.
