In this chapter the authors scrutinise the development of women’s professional sport in light of the pandemic. Specifically, the chapter explores how women’s professional sport has attempted to pivot in order to manage the negative consequences of sport shutdowns and competition postponements. The chapter draws on the United Nations Sports for Generation Equality Framework to provide a theoretical lens to the practical analysis.
