Suspended Moments

chapter
posted on 2023-05-22, 15:57 authored by Di Stefano, J, Hannah, DM
Performance and Temporalisation features a diverse collection of scholars and artists gathered from across performance studies, philosophy, architecture, film and new media studies writing of a moment when time happens. Taking the Moscow Theatre Siege (2002) as a catalyzing event, Hannah and Di Stefano's chapter investigates the spatiotemporal charge when danger truly enters the theatre, rendering the experience a Lacanian ”stain of the Real”.
