Brainstorm

Art school pedagogy and practice are becoming alive to the site’s broader potential. Federal Hotels, the Hobart City Council and the Macquarie Point Corporation are considering further investment in the Centre for the Arts to increase public access and engagement. Previously underutilised art school spaces are being reclaimed by the city (eg. the Hobiennale will use the loading bay as a venue) stimulating new relationships and opportunities. Dark Mofo has committed to ongoing engagement with the Centre for the Arts site in collaboration with the School of Creative Arts.
