<p>Lattitude was an exhibition of new works by Contemporary Tasmanian Printmakers and featured new monotypes by this author that leverage the insights from previous Scenic Attention Machines into a conventionally folk practice of monotype printing - the gelatin print.  </p> <p> </p> <p>Using the rapid processing of gelatin printing these works test the capacity for simple swipe-based forms to evoke an abstract yet atmospheric sense of place that hovers between the particular and the universal.</p> <p> </p> <p>The exhibition was at the Print Council of Australia - the peak body for Australian printmaking.</p>
