Drowned Forests of the Navarre, Lake King William, 13 August 2012

The Derwent Project researches new immersive approaches to visualising complex and remote environments, exploring Tasmania's Derwent River catchment in a test study. A 13 minute video was recorded from a boat slowly drifting through the drowned forests of Tasmania's Lake King William hydroelectric impoundment. This was projected at night in an urban Melbourne shopfront at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Fitzroy.
