Fake Nature 3.0 is a generative code-based artwork that builds on the author's investigations into generative landscape painting conventions dating back centuries and perpetuating in contemporary visual culture.
Building off previous bodies of work, the artist has simulated colour seperations of aquatint printing in the p5.js javascript library to create infinitely generative landscape-like abstract compositions.
The work is displayed on-site in an exhibition context as well as available for viewing in a browser.
