Pixie and the Big Storm

'Pixie and the Big Storm' is a prose poem responding to an oral history recollection by a one-time owner of the D-Class yacht, Pixie. The sailor vividly recalls sailing from Hobart (Tasmania's capital) in the direction of a small southern town, Kettering, only to be met - at the mouth of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel - by a wall of wild weather.
