Signs - HWY 1 exhibition

On the many trips I have made between Hobart and the North I have often found myself passing by towns and villages visible from the highway but at which I have never stopped. In the time taken to pass I have wondered about these towns, the people that live there and the houses that they live in. They are fleeting thoughts, lasting only as long as it takes for the town to disappear from the rear-view mirror. The work that I am making is an attempt to slow down this 11Okm/h wondering. Maybe some will stop and come in for a closer look.<p></p>
