'Infinity is a backdrop' is an edition of 20 etchings made with acquatint pubished by Cicada Press. They were made while Tony Curran was a visiting artist at UNSW in 2018.

The works consist of three colour separations of red, green and blue, using the colour language of pixels as a frame for imagining the natural environment. This work forms part of the author's 'Fake Nature' project.
