Decision support for logistic networks of renewable resources based on tracking and tracing system

For wood supply chains, a sub-stantial savings potential through reduced wood loss and improved wood transportation are being reported in the scientific literature. In this study, a logistics network model of two companies producing engineered wood products in Lower Saxony has been implemented using the LCA-software Umberto 7.0 in order to analyze several economic, technical and environ-mental parameters and their possible improvements due to TTS.
