Getting your foot in the door as a graduate librarian can be difficult, but what happens once you step over the threshold? When the University of Tasmania Library began offering entry-level positions for liaison librarian vacancies it soon became clear that this was only the beginning; with no clear orientation structure in place new librarians were largely left to fend for themselves.
