Ocean circulation and basal melting below the Fimbul Ice Shelf, Antarctica

The Fimbul Ice Shelf is situated at the prime meridian and is the sixth largest ice shelf in Antarctica. The regional oceanography in the vicinity of the Fimbul seems to be typical for ice shelves along the the Eastern Weddell Sea.
