As part of the introduction of Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE)- based competency assessments into a postgraduate psychology program, evidence-informed decision regarding their utility and acceptability are needed. This study will examine student, staff, and clinician perceptions towards the use of OSCE-based assessment in postgraduate psychology training programs, with particular emphasis placed on acceptability, efficacy, implementation issues, and fitness for purpose. Additional factors that will be considered include level of experience in competency-based assessments, and years of practice.
