Sustainability reporting in local government in Australia - a preliminary analysis

In recent years sustainability reporting has grown in importance, considered by some almost as mainstream reporting in the private sector. The same cannot be contended for the public sector with sustainability reporting appearing to be in its infancy. This exploratory study considers the current state of local government sustainability reporting in Australia.
