Topology of the flow around a conventional submarine hull

posted on 2023-05-23, 18:44 authored by Lee, SKA topology model constructed from surface-streamer visualisation describes the flow of a generic conventional Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) submarine design in straight-ahead and yaw conditions. The model is used to derive equations for the side-force and yaw-moment coefficients relating to the geometry of the hull and the circulation of the surrounding flow.
