Collaboration between Dr Nigel Hellyer, IMAS and the Conservatorium of Music. An art project to visualise and sonify bio-logging data collected by seals under Antarctic Ice. The team under Hellyer has successfully applied for Australia Council funding for 2013 under Creative Development ($30,000).
Legg and the Con ensemble improvised to visual and data stimuli, bringing order and logic to scientific data analysis. The performance existed in and of itself, whilst providing the audience with a new and innovative insight into the order and structure of the data.
