Acid rain monitoring by ion-exclusion/cation-exchange chromatography

Evaluation of acid rain effects in the east Asia region has been accomplished with an automatic acid rain monitoring system consisting of a simultaneous ion-exclusion-cation-exchange (IEC-CEC) Chromatographie acid rain analyzer, coupled with an automatic rain sampler and meteorological data analyzer. Examples of the use of this system are presented.
