As far as I am aware, the work done hitherto with regard to philological studies of the Tasmanian language has not been extensive. Ling Roth gives in an Appendix to his book on "The Aborigines of Tasmania" an apparently full bibliography of the subject. Among the works mentioned there as dealing with the Speech of the Aboriginals, we find the following list of members who have also studied the subject in great detail.
