Biggest reservation of private native forest ever

In an historic first as the biggest private conservation deal in Australia, Tasmanian Land Conservancy has dramatically increased its status from one of the smaller league of private landholders in Tasmania (with a total 1,729ha of reserved land) to the second largest, behind Gunns Ltd large plantation estate.
