What is the ontology of architecture? One way to understand this question is to take it as asking after the basic elements of architectural practice - the basic elements of design or construction. Yet the question of the ontology of architecture can be viewed in another way also, as directed at an understanding of the being of architecture, at uncovering its proper limits and grounds (see Malpas 2012a).
