Embracing Cancer: A Conversation of Theology, Health, and Ethics
journal contribution
posted on 2023-05-16, 19:37 authored by Newman, C, Newell, CJThis paper pursues a form of E-Socratic dialogue, utilising the medium of e-mails between two friends with disability, one of facing mortality at home and the other from a hospital bed. In exploring cancer and health, and how theology and health ethics respond to the "C word," we seek to move beyond current understandings. There is, of course, a long and distinguished history in the use of Socratic conversation. © by The Haworth Press, Inc. All rights reserved.
