Feed and Food Safety in the Farmed Atlantic Salmon Industry

Two potential obstacles to increase marine aquaculture of carnivorous fish are the feed-producing ability of the oceans and more stringent traceability requirements being introduced by governments and retail chains. Background to and some implications of these issues is provided.
