Meteorological records recorded at the Observatory, Hobart Town. Leafing, flowering and fruiting of a few standard plants in the Royal Society's Gardens during the month of June, 1865. -Warm, sunny days, cold nights, with consequent high mean of daily-range of temperature, very gentle ariel movement, high atmospheric pressure, small rainfall, and abundance of electricity and ozone, was the prevailing character of the weather this month. Only once in the previous eight years was there as small a mortality numerically(- 32) i.e., in 1857, but in the comparison, both of ages, and classes of disease, the present month exhibits the healthiest character of any June on record.
