Note on Gautieria in Tasmania

G. tasmanica is a small and rare tuber usually living rather deep in the soil. It differs from G. drummondi of West Australia chiefly in the form and colour of its spores.<br>Also it is closely related to G. parkiana and G. trabuli of North America.<br>Habitat simiilar to G. tasmanica.<br>Includes brief description.
