Notes on some Tasmanian and Australian Lepidoptera-Rhopalocera

A ready method of seperating the males of the two species of Pelopidas, P. anga dingo Evans and P.Lyelli Lyelli Rothschild, for long confused as one species under the name mathias, is described and figured.Oreisplanus m laranaunionga is described from north-west Tasmania, this is the first record of the genus in this State and of the species below a high altitude in the Australian Alps.
