Obituary for Mr Arthur White 1871-1917 who was a frequent contributor to the Papers and Proceedings of the Society. Mr. White was an enthusiastic student of geology and palaeontology, but entomology was his chief scientific interest, his work on Diptera marking him as an authority on the subject.
