Organizational Learning and School Change

This article examines the nature of organizational learning and the leadership practices and processes that foster organisational learning In Australian high schools. A path model is used to test the relationships between school-level factors and school outcome measures in terms of students 'participation in and engagement with school. The importance of reconceptualizing schools as teaming organisations to promote successful school change is discussed. © 2002 The University Council for Educational Administration.
