Practice Development

Nurses, to a greater or lesser exent, have always been committed to providing quality care to patients. They have provided such care in good faith, with good intention, often in very difficult circumstances and with great effectiveness. I work from the assumption that nursing care does make a difference to patient outcomes and I believe that nursing is purposeful and can grow stronger by adopting a sound research base to practice.
