The monthly evening meeting of the Society, was held on Tuesday, the 9th April, M. Allport, Esq., in the chair.-The Chairman remarked that he had received the following very interesting communication on Pisciculture in Tasmania from Judge Francis, who would be recognised by all as an authority on the subject, and he had much pleasure in bringing it under the notice of the meeting. The communication included information on the smolt, sea-trout, tench and perch.
