This article provides a range of activities across the measurement spectrum, including height, time, volume, area, and distance, designed to promote the development of mathematics and numeracy through science-related activities. It is presented in the spirit of acknowledgement that in the Australian Curriculum, literacy and numeracy are the foundations of learning and are to be encompassed across all areas of the curriculum.
