Substrate-attachment preferences of cultured newborn pot-bellied seahorses, Hippocampus abdominalis (Lesson, 1827)

During a series of observations, newborn pot-bellied seahorses, Hippocampus abdominalis, were offered three size choices of diameter and density of substrate. The seahorses exhibited a marked preference for the greatest diameter and the lowest density substrates.
