Target signature extraction based on the continuous wavelet transform in ultra-wideband radar

An approach to the representation of range-profiles based on the continuous wavelet transform (CWT) is presented for stepped frequency measurements in ultra-wideband radar. Target signatures extracted from the range profiles could be used for the automatic target recognition task in radar signal processing.
