The Sabah State Election of 1994: End of Kadazan Unity
The state election that was held on Mar 19-20, 1994 in the East Malaysian state of Sabah is discussed. Sabah is one of the only two states in the Malaysian federation to be governed by the opposition, and its election was considered by many a precursor to general elections expected to be held early in 1995.
