The first record of a fish from a non-marine Antarctic habitat is reported. A specimen of Trematomus scotti (Boulenger) was captured from the brackish water zone of epishelf Beaver Lake (70°7' S; 68°14' E). © 2005 The Fisheries Society of the British Isles.
