Uniqueness issue of wavelet transform modulus maxima representation and a least squares reconstruction algorithm

The authors show that the problem of uniqueness of the wavelet transform modulus maxima representation is related to the completeness of the wavelet basis set; i.e. it must be a frame of the function space of interest. The authors present a least squares reconstruction method that is optimum with respect to the basis set.
