Back with Bacharach: Maria Lurighi and Andrew Legg

For this performance, Andrew Legg arranged, rehearsed and performed selected music from the Burt Bacharach catalogue, placing the songs in a new context for solo female voice and piano in a large scale Cabaret setting (City Hall, 1000 seat capacity). The capacity for a two-person show to delver an emotionally engaging and captivating performance in such a large venue is challenging, and directly affected repertoire choice, style of presentation, story line for the spoken word, and other significant performance practice issues.
