Dots on the Rox

This project saw the collaboration between the Conservatorium of Music and IMAS. Alistair Dobson features as a member of an improvised music ensemble that performed real time interpretations of graphic representations of data sets collected from a variety of Antartc studies associated with seal migration. This was the second iteration of this collaboration whcih saw the inclusion of new data sets and longer duartions allowed for the improvisation to develop. Participants then particiapted in a question and answer forum where scientists and aritists alike could seek infomation from and provide feedback to the performers. The ensemble also featured Nick Haywood, Andrew Legg and Glen Hodges.
