Mozart Society Concert Series/Nexus Virtuosi

Jeremy Williams ,Satu Vanska, Patrick Murphy and Brenda Jones gave a performance of three masterpieces of the chamber repertoire. Schubert String trio in B flat D471, Mozart Piano Quartet in G minor K 478 and the massive Brahms Piano Quartet in A op 28. Due to its length of almost 50 minutes the Brahms is seldom performed and was therefore of great interest to 2MBS who recorded the performance live. The performers took the opportunity of researching the technical and balance techniques that would have been employed in the origional performance given by Brahms in the 19th century.
