Nick Haywood Quartet at Bennetts Lane Jazz Club

These concerts feature Nick Haywood as a leader with his quartet, featuring Colin Hopkins (piano), Stephen Magnusson (guitar) and Allan Browne (drums). The quartet's focus is the development of collaborative improvisations from simple thematic material. The performance will feature Haywood's compositions as well as tunes by Ornette Coleman, Willie Nelson and Jimmy Webb, all of which appear on their multi award winning CD.
