Standing In The Shadows of MONA II

The second of the "Standing in the shadows of MONA' concerts. Sponsored by Cultural Activities and MONA, the SGC brings international gospel artist Khristian Dentley to MONA to perform original music written by Dently and Legg specifically for the SGC. The MONA concert attract in excess of 6000 people from around Australia and give the SGC a genuinely international audience. Based on the success of these concerts, the SGC will tour the USA in 2014. These concerts generate the data and context for Legg's ongoing research in African american gospel Music, published through Cambridge Popular Music.
