An Ecosystem Model to Develop Collaborative Interventions for Inclusive Service Designs and Practices - interim report
The interim report based on the Just Like You (JLY) program aims to highlight its strengths, key areas of focus, limitations and the pathways that the program should consider moving forward.
Preliminary findings identify the JLY program’s strengths that continue to be critical for its success: the involvement of individuals experiencing disabilities as facilitators, the program’s alignment with the school curriculum, and the shared purpose among all stakeholders involved.
The report also identifies key areas of focus in terms of program content, sharing of results with stakeholders, impact measurement, post-program engagement and program scaling.
The program’s limitations regarding the resources and tools available to it are discussed as well. Based on the discussion, the report makes the following recommendations:
- Better collaboration with opinion leaders
- Facilitating collaborations within the collaboration
- Improved adaptability of the content
- Better communication outputs
- Follow-up resources
- Better impact measurement tools
- Provision of a platform
- Platform related metrics
