<p dir="ltr">This is the third in a series of independent literature reviews about marine farming interactions and the environment.</p><p dir="ltr">The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania (DNRE Tas) commissioned the University of Tasmania’s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) to perform these reviews to support the planning and regulation of marine farming in Tasmania, and to provide a reference source for people with an interest in Tasmanian aquaculture. It is intended to cover all forms of existing or proposed marine-based aquaculture within Tasmanian state waters and will be regularly updated and revised to consider new scientific information. This review will focus on the interaction between shallow temperate reef ecosystems and finfish aquaculture.</p>
