Benthic macroinvertebrate monitoring ASC salmon standard compliance assessment: Saltas Wayatinah Hatchery

Monitoring of benthic macroinvertebrates is a requirement under the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Salmon Standard (2012) for salmonid hatchery facilities discharging to freshwater receiving environments (rivers). ASC accreditation requirements for the monitoring are described in Appendix VIII-3 of the standard (see Appendix 1).
