Proposed harvest strategy for the George's Bay Northern Zone Venerupis fishery

There is concern from the department, IMAS and industry that the current total allowable commercial catch (TACC) setting process and survey method for assessment of <i>Venerupis </i>sp. in George’s Bay Northern Zone is not sufficiently robust to ensure long term sustainability in the fishery. IMAS has been asked to review this process and present a proposed harvest strategy and refined survey design.
