The zoned ore deposits of the Zeehan mineral field

posted on 2023-05-26, 04:39 authored by Both, RAThe ore-bodies of the Zeehan mineral field are located between the township of Zeehand and the Devonian Heemskirk granite mass, some five miles west of Zeehan. Host rocks of the ores range in age from Younger Precambrian to Devonian, but most of the production has been from ore-bodies in Younger Precambrian to Lower Cambrian rocks.
