X-ray crystal structure analyses of some pseudo-octahedral complexes of tervalent vanadium, chromium, molybdenum and iron

This thesis describes the results of three-dimensional X-ray crystal structure analyses of some coordination compounds of V(III), Cr(III), Fe(III) and Mo(III), specifically compounds containing octahedral complex ions, with a view to establishing important features of chemical interest. A general outline is given of the process of crystal structure analysis with a detailed discussion of experimental techniques used in this research.
